D. Raja bereaved

Nayagam, mother of Communist Party of India national secretary D. Raja, died in her native village in Vellore district of Tamil Nadu on Thursday.

She was 88 and is survived by six sons and a daughter.

Mr. Raja, MP, said the burial would take place on the banks of the Palar river on Friday at Chithathoor in the district.
