NSS to organise 134th Mannam Jayanthi celebrations

The 134th Mannam Jayanthi celebrations being organised by the Nair Service Society (NSS) will commence on the New Year Day.

The All-Kerala Nair Representative Conference will be held on the first day of celebrations. NSS general secretary P.K. Narayana Panicker will welcome the gathering. P.V. Neelakanta Pillai, NSS president will chair the session. The conference will be followed by a musical programme that would feature many renowned cultural artists.

The Jayanti celebrations have been scheduled for January 2.

Maharashtra Governor K. Sankaranarayanan will inaugurate the function.

The keynote address will be delivered by Prof. P.J. Kurian M.P. Others who will speak on the occasion are Mathrubhumi managing editor P.V. Chandran, NSS general secretary P.K. Narayana Panicker, president P.V. Neelakanta Pillai, secretary G. Sukumaran Nair and treasurer P.N. Narendranathan Nair.
