Polur AIADMK workers condemn IT Minister

April 23, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:45 am IST - Tiruvannamalai:

Information Technology Minister Mukkur N. Subramanian, who has been denied a party ticket in this election, was criticised for neglecting the campaign for Polur AIADMK candidate at the party workers meeting on Friday.

C.M. Murugan has been given a ticket by AIADMK in the constituency.

Speakers said that it was Mr. Subramanian who recommended Mr. Murugan, but he has not turned up in Polur to conduct workers meeting or to give thrust to campaign ever since the candidate was announced. Polur MLA L. Jayasudha echoed the sentiment.

But Peranamallur block secretary Selvaraj was vociferous in his criticism.

Incidentally, Mr. Subramanian participated in the workers meeting in Tiruvannamalai on Friday.
