Man found stabbed to death

A 22-year-old youth was found stabbed to death near a burial ground at Dharapadavedu on Sunday.

According to the police, Chellathurai, a resident of Jyothi Nagar, Dharapadavedu had left home with his neighbour Sathish on Saturday night but failed to return home.

Chellathurai was found dead on Sunday morning. He was stabbed using a liquor bottle.

Police suspect that he could have been killed in a drunken brawl.

Viruthampet police have registered a case and are on the lookout for Sathish, who is absconding.
