Railways have announced special fare special trains from Chennai Central, Nanded, Secunderabad, and Hazrat Nizamuddin to key railway stations in the State and back and on the Tirunelveli-Mangaluru-Tirunelveli sector to clear the rush during the Onam season.
Train 06005 Chennai Central-Ernakulam Junction special fare special train will leave Chennai Central on September 8, 15, 22 and 29 September (Fridays) and in the return direction train 06006 will leave Ernakulam on September 10, 17, 24 and October 1 (Sundays).
Train 82631 Chennai Central-Ernakulam Junction Suvidha special will operate on September 1 and in the return direction, train 82632 will operate on September 3.
Train 06005/82631 Chennai Central-Ernakulam special fare and Suvidha specials will leave Chennai Central at 10.30 p.m. and will reach Ernakulam Junction at 10.55 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, 06006/82632 will leave Ernakulam Junction at 7 p.m. and will reach Chennai Central at 7.20 a.m. the next day. Train 0611 Tirunelveli-Mangaluru Junction special fare specials will leave Tirunelveli at 5.55 p.m. on August 31 and will reach Mangalure Junction at 1 p.m. the next day. In the return, 06012 will leave Mangaluru Junction at 3.40 p.m. on September 1 to reach Tirunelvei at 8.35 a.m. the next day.
From Chennai
Train 06014 Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai Central special fare Onam special will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 7 p.m. on September 6 and will reach Chennai Central at 11.30 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, 06013 will leave Chennai Central at 3.15 p.m. on Thursday and reach Thiruvananthapuram Central at 7.45 a.m. the next day. Train 07119 Secunderabad-Kochuveli Secunderabad special fare special will leave Secunderabad at 4.25 p.m. on September 1 to reach Kochuveli at 12.30 a.m. on Sunday. In the return direction, 07120 will leave Kochuveli at 8.30 p.m. on September 6 to reach the destination at 3 a.m. the next day.
From Nanded
Train 07505 Nanded-Ernakulam special fare special will leave Nanded at 7.10 a.m. on September 1 to reach Ernakulam Junction at 2 p.m. the next day. In the return, 07504 will leave Ernakulam Junction at 11 p.m. on September 4 to reach Nanded at 6.30 a.m. on September 6. Train 04426 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Kochuveli special fare special train will leave Hazrat Nizamuddin at 5.55 a.m. on September 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 and October 7, 14, 21 and 28 (Saturday). In the return direction, 04425 will leave Kochuveli at 11 p.m. on September 4, 11, 18 and 25 and October 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.
