Special trains to Velankanni

The Konkan Railway will run Suvidha Express special trains to clear extra rush of passengers between Vasco-da-Gama and Velankanni, in co-ordination with South Western Railway, during the Feast of Our Lady of Good Health at Velankanni, Tamil Nadu.

A press release here said that train no. 02715 Vasco-Velankanni Suvidha Express special train will leave Vasco at 10.30 a.m. on August 27 and September 2. The train will reach Velankanni at 12.30 p.m. the next day.

Train no. 02716 Velankanni-Vasco Suvidha Express special train will leave Velankanni at 8.15 p.m. on August 28 and September 3 to reach reach Vasco at 9 p.m. the next day. Train No. 02717 Vasco-Velankanni Suvidha Express special train will leave Vasco at 1.30 p.m. on August 30 and reach Velankanni at 1 p.m. the next day. Train no. 02718 Velankanni-Vasco Suvidha Express special train will leave Velankanni at 8.15 p.m. on August 31 and reach Vasco at 9.10 p.m. the next day.

These trains will have halts at Majorda, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Kundapur, Udupi, Surathkal, Thokur, Mangalore Junction, Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Karur, Tiruchirapalli, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur and Nagapattinam railway junctions/stations.
