Six elephants moved to Mallasandra tank

Six tuskers have now moved to Mallasandra tank from Lakshmanasandra tank in Tumakuru on Thursday.

Assistant Conservator of Forests, D. Devaraj told The Hindu , “three teams have been formed to drive the elephants back to the forest”.

As the driving operation will start in the evening, they have warned people staying in the nearby villages, to not to come out of their houses between 6.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m.

The tuskers had entered the district on Wednesday from Adrangi forest in Nelamangala taluk in Bengaluru rural district.
