Policemen honoured

Vizag Round Table 77 will be organising the third edition of Knights in Khaki (KIK) on Saturday.

KIK is a unique programme where 25 policemen from various hierarchy are honoured for their dedication towards duty and outstanding service.

The men are selected from various branches of the police force including the Home Guards.

The honours will be done in the presence of their family members and Commissioner of Police T. Yoganand, other senior police officers, and Naveen Perla, chairman of Vizag Round Table.

The basic idea of organising this programme is to create awareness among general public about the Police Department and to build a good relationship between the police and the public, said Vidhan Mittal, secretary of the Vizag Round Table.
