Summer special trains towards Mumbai

The Konkan Railway will operate four summer special trains on the route from Chatrapathi Shivaji Terminus Mumbai (CST) to clear the extra rush during the summer.

A release said Train No. 01067/01068 Mumbai CST-Tirunelveli-Mumbai CST Weekly Special will depart on March 25 at 12.25 a.m. from Mumbai and on March 26 at 1.30 p.m. from Tirunelveli, with 20 coaches. The arrival time in Tirunelvi is 11 a.m. and at CST 2 a.m.

It will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Murudeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road-Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Surathkal, Thokur, Mangalore Junction, Kasaragod, Kannur, Thalasseri, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shornur, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayamkulam, Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram, Neyyattinkara, Kulitturai, Erniel, Nagercoil Town, and Valliyur stations.

Train No. 01065/01066 Mumbai CST-Ernakulam-Mumbai CST Weekly Special will leave CST on March 22 at 12.25 a.m. and reach Ernakulam Junction at 2.15 a.m. on March 23. From there, Train No. 01066 will leave on Monday March 23 at 5.45 a.m. and reach CST at 8.15 a.m. on Tuesday.

The 20-coach train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Murudeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road-Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Surathkal, Thokur, Mangalore Junction, Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalasseri, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Kuttipuram, Shornur, Thrissur, and Aluva.

It will operate 02057 Mumbai CST-Tirunelveli Premium Weekly special and 02058 Tirunelveli-Mumbai CST Weekly Special (Non premium) with 19 coaches. Train No. 02057 will leave Mumbai at 12.25 a.m. on every Wednesday on April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20, 27, and June 3, and reach the destination at 11 a.m. the next day.

Train No. 02058 will leave from Tirunelveli on Thursdays on April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21, 28, and June 4 at 1.30 p.m. and reach CST at 2 a.m. on Saturdays.

It will halt at Thane, Panvel, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Murudeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road-Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Surathkal, Thokur, Mangalore Junction, Kasaragod, Kannur, Thalasseri, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shornur, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayamkulam, Kollam, Thiruvanathapuram, Neyyattinkara, Kulitturai, Erniel, Nagercoil Town, and Valliyur stations.

Train No. 02065 Mumbai CST-Ernakulam Premium Weekly Special will leave CST at 12.25 a.m. on Sundays March 29, April 5, 12, 19, 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, and June 7, and reach Ernakulam Junction at 2.15 a.m. on Mondays.

The pairing 02066 Ernakulam-Mumbai CST Weekly Non Premium Special will leave Ernakulam on Mondays at 5.45 a.m. on March 30, April 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11, 18, 25, June 1 and 8 and reach CST at 8.15 a.m. on Tuesday.

The 19-coach train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Murudeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road-Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Surathkal, Thokur, Mangalore Junction, Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalasseri, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Kuttipuram, Shornur, Thrissur, and Aluva.
