Zaeden, meaning out-of-the-box thinking in Latin, is familiar name in the artistic circle. True to his non official name, Sahil Sharma excels in making out-of-the-box music. And it is this talent in this 21-year-old DJ, known for his remixes of “Magic” by Coldplay, “Animals” by Maroon 5 and “Love Yourself” by Justin Bieber, which makes the young generation croon to his kind of music.

Sahil, currently on a multi-city tour to promote his new track “Never Let You Go”, does not believe in taking things easy.

“I really want people to watch the video and what makes me most happy is to watch the crowd go crazy when the chorus plays! This makes me do as many shows as I can. The only exhausting thing is travelling!,” says Sahil, before his performance in the city.

Popular in the dance and music circuits as Justin Bieber of EDM, Sahil, who began as a DJ at 14 years, has released a new song in collaboration with Nina and Mallika from “Elektrovertz”. The female DJ duo excels in fusion of deep baselines, techno beats infused with tribal percussions.

“Nina and Mallika have always been great friends to me and we work with the same record label. One day Nina came to me with her new guitar riff and it was going really well with my new track. And we decided to collaborate,” says Sahil.

The pop infused dance music summer track finds its release on Dutch record label Spinnin’ Records under the name “Never Let You Go”. Cimo Frankel is on the vocals, who has been responsible for hits with Armin van Buuren and the video has been shot across Europe.

Revealing how he became a musician, Sahil says: “I was always bad in studies and music always interested me. One day I made a remix of ‘Magic’ by Coldplay for my sister and she loved it. Then, a friend sent it to Hardwell and it was played its radio the next day. It meant a big deal for me to get support from Hardwell at the age of 18. After this, my life just found a track and ever since I have been chasing my dreams! At the age of 19, I was playing at Tomorrowland! I am very excited to continue making music and try new styles!”

On the growing DJ culture in the country, Sahil says: “I think we have a very strong music scene right now with artists like Nucleya putting India on the global map and it makes me very happy to represent India wherever I go.”
