The word freedom is full of inspiration. We are all aware of how inner freedom is the goal to peace and happiness. However, we are yet to recognise and realise this. Lots of questions are popping in my head as I contemplate this. As thoughts slow down, I arrive at a simple yet powerful realisation that freedom is not something given to you. Rather, it is chosen by you.

For instance, we are surrounded by an unending thrust of peer pressure and competition in academic and professional spheres. If we think about this, we have two options. Either, be influenced by peer pressure or be free to choose our own path and decisions. With this understanding, we can choose to be bold and opt for the path we wish by taking intuition as our guide. But how can we do this? If only we are free to observe our own mind in an open honest manner without resistance, clear, intelligent solutions come to us. It is an art we need to learn. Choosing uncharted territories need not necessarily make you a loner or a rebel. It is merely about giving things your best shot to be inspired by your own decisions and take steps forward.

No matter how loud the noise of the outer world is, it is the inner voice that gives you clear promise and direction. Find that space in your hearts for it is there that you will find answers, focus, clarity and peace. In that peace, you will feel light, and in that lightness, freedom. There begins your inner journey to freedom. No one to force you, no one to stop you. You are free. From that inner state of freedom, you can see clearly and focus on your outside activities. You will then begin to see and respond to the world in a different and positive manner. That is the beginning of real inner transformation.

Being free is a strong, responsible decision you make yourself. Freedom is simply living every moment by making your individual, right and authentic choices responsibly in a manner that inspires and pushes you forward in your goals and dreams.
