With 4G finally becoming mainstream, the Indian internet user is all about speed, and that’s the ONE word that can make or break their trust in a mobile network. In times like these, when just about every network operator claims to be the fastest 4G network in India, Airtel takes an unprecedented route for its brand communications by asking customers to try another or just about every other network before settling for the right network – Airtel .

Airtel’s “Sab Kuch Try Karo, fir Sahi Chuno” campaign isn’t a marketing gimmick even though it makes a very bold statement and that many users aren’t likely to actually try every network before continuing with or switching to Airtel. But the confidence and message are very loud and clear. The premise of this open and honest conversation with customers is entirely data-driven. Airtel’s data shows that many users who switched to other networks from Airtel returned because they realized Airtel was the fastest network. By confidently urging consumers to try, test and then choose their network partner, Airtel demonstrated a deep-rooted belief in its best-in-class services. Also, backed by results from the global leader in internet speed tests – Ookla, Airtel has, for the third year in a running proven itself to be the fastest mobile network in India. And not through a survey commissioned by Airtel, but through Ookla’s own analysis of millions of user-initiated speed tests. These tests were conducted on web and mobile speed test platforms, and the top providers in speed were determined through a speed score (the modified trimean of upload and download speed of the network that helped rank its performance).

Airtel’s success as the fastest 4G network rests on its continuous endeavour to outperform itself and the massive investments they have made in technology and network advancements. The award applauds Airtel’s devotion towards providing millions of its consumers with the strongest network and the smoothest connectivity as a result of it. With the average 4G speed of 10.12 Mbps for download and 3.66 Mbps for upload on LTE enables devices, Airtel achieved a speed score of 8.99 and thus earned the recognition for being “India’s Fastest Mobile Network”.
