Kings XI Punjab captain R. Ashwin won the toss and decided to bowl first in Mohali. KXIP made two changes, bringing in Ankit Rajpoot and Mujeeb Ur Rahman for Andrew Tye and M. Ashwin respectively.
Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar said their line-up is unchanged.
