Delhi, which on Sunday recorded 2.6 degree Celsius, got some respite with the minimum temperature settling at 4.8 degrees Celsius. Srinagar recorded minus 4.1 degrees Celsius and Kargil minus 15.6 degrees Celsius.
Depression
The well-marked low pressure area over the south-west Bay of Bengal lay off the north Sri Lanka-Tamil Nadu coast.
