Another tweet said: “As a mark of respect to Gopinath Munde, the national flag will be flown at half mast on the day of funeral at the place of funeral of Munde.”

It added the home ministry is making arrangements to take the mortal remains of Mr. Munde to his native place for the last rites.

“A state funeral will be held at the native place of Gopinath Munde tomorrow (Wednesday),” a PIB tweet stated.
