Health and Family Welfare and Kolar District in-charge Minister U.T. Khader inaugurated the indoor stadium here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Khader called upon the youth of the district to utilize the facilities available at the stadium to become good sportspersons and make the district proud. “The stadium should be restricted to sports activities only”, he said.
MP K.H. Muniyappa assured generator facility to the stadium through MP’s Local Area Development Fund.
Deputy Commissioner K.V. Thrilokchandra said a committee will be formed for maintenance of the stadium.
ZP president Rathnamma, CEO N.M. Panali, CMC president B.M. Mubarak, Sports and Youth Empowerment Department Deputy Director Rudrappa were present.
