B. U. Joshi, judge of the Special Court hearing the Gulberg Society massacre case of the 2002 communal riots in Gujarat, visited the site on Saturday for a spot survey. The media, however, were barred from covering the event. Mr. Joshi and his entourage arrived at the Gulberg Society around 10 a.m. and moved round the locality for about two hours. Photographers and electronic media were not allowed to take any pictures.
