The victim was trapped as the automatic system of the car got locked

A 32-year-old person was charred to death after his car caught fire on Iyyanarkoil Street near Mudaliarper on Tuesday morning.

Police identified the victim as Muthukamaran, a resident of the street on which the incident took place.

An initial probe has revealed that the victim was trapped in the car after its automatic system car got locked due to the fire, police said.
