Women’s in CinemaCollective film show at Biennale

Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) will be showcasing the works of women professionals at Kochi Biennale's venue Cabral Yard from February 15 to 19.

Bina Paul, film editor and vice chairperson of the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, is the curator of the WCC show, which will open with a Hindi short film by Reema Sengupta “Counterfeit Kunkoo” and a Malayalam film “Aabhasam” by Jubith Namradath on Friday. All the shows start at 6.30 p.m.

Two episodes from “Kerala Cafe” by Anjali Menon, and “Revathy”, “Happy Journey” and “Makal” will be screened on Saturday along with Vindhu Vincent’s “Manhole”. “Ore Udal” by Asha Joseph, “Liar's Dice” by Geethu Mohandas, and “Pandhi Bhojanam” by Sreebala Menon are among other films that will be screened on the following days.
