YSRCP MLA caught with live bullets at RGIA

A YSRCP legislator was detained at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport by the police in the wee hours of Friday, for carrying four live rounds in his baggage.

The Central Industrial Security Force personnel at the airport detected four rounds in Adoni MLA Y. Sai Prasad Reddy’s baggage during the security check for his flight to Thailand, with another legislator Gummanur Jayaram of Alur constituency.

Mr. Reddy was immediately detained and handed over to the RGIA police for further investigation. No case was registered as Mr. Reddy was carrying the bullets of his licensed weapon.
