Three arrested for using drone camera to film wedding

This is the first time in recent times that the police have made arrests for usage of drones.

Petbasheerabad police of Cyberabad on Wednesday arrested three persons, including an owner of a function hall, as they used a drone camera to film a wedding.

This is the first time in recent times that the police have made arrests for usage of drones. “The arrests were made for violating orders of the Cyberabad Commissioner of Police who banned use of drones,” Petbasheerabad Sub-Inspector Srinath said.

On learning that drone camera was being used in Venkateshwwawra Garden function hall, the police went there and seized the drone and the camera. The arrested persons – K. Roop Kumar, 30, B. Yugandhar, 34, and Reddy Reddy Krishna Kanth Reddy, 31 – were presented before a court. They were released on bail.
