A 28-year-old woman, who got married last month, allegedly jumped to her death at her residence in east Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar on Monday afternoon, the police said.
DCP (East) Jasmeet Singh said the woman’s father told the police that she had been depressed as she got married very late but had not alleged anything against her in-laws’ or husband. The police said that a magisterial enquiry has been initiated as the death occurred a month after marriage.
