Very interesting

I am a reader of YW for a long time now. My sister Risty and I always keep a watch out for YW on Tuesdays. We cut some articles from YW and preserve them. My parents insisted that I should me to read YW when I was seven years old. I like the cartoons too. The YW Quiz has helped me to win quiz competitions held in our school. YW has also improved my English fluency.

Weekly joy

I've cultivated the habit of reading Young World due to the compulsion of my teachers in Std. VI. When I began reading it, I realised how enjoyable it was. Now every Tuesday I wait for the colourful Young World to reach my home. Young World has helped me to improve my English. I love to read Young World and I am sad that it comes only once in a week.

Best friend forever

I remember the first time when I read the Young World. I found it boring first. But then I started enjoying solving puzzles and reading the short stories. I love this paper. This paper is unique. I like the first page which is full of useful information. This is indeed the best paper for children as well as teenagers. When I am disturbed or angry, I take a copy YW and I enter into a different world.

Exciting

As a student of Std. V I am always excited on a Tuesday, as our class gets to discuss YW. Our class teacher helps us to read all the important events, and we learn new issues, we also enjoy answering the quiz. When we have special events at school we find it has found mention in the pages of YW. Thank You YW for making it an exciting experience reading the newspaper.

Constant companion

Young World has been a part of my life from as far back as I can remember. As a child, my primary attraction used to be the Crayon Corner. .It probably also was my introduction to fiction along with Enid Blyton. And now at 22 I still cannot resist reading

Young World, though now I use it to refresh my general knowledge. The stories in Young World still remind me of the right thing to do, the importance of values and morals that have become too trivial in busy day to day life and that according to me, is its greatest contribution. Sometimes it takes the child in you to differentiate the right from the wrong.

Fond memories

I fondly remember the days when I began to pick up The Hindu just so that I could read Young World. Those were the days when the Young World was published on Saturdays. We didn't have a subscription those days. If I waited till after school, there would be no copies left. So, every Saturday, dressed in a crisp and clean white uniform I would be off on my bike to get a copy of the Young World and devour it when I got back from school. I am doing a PhD now and I still read the Young World.

Make a difference

I am the Headmistress of a Government school and I enjoy reading Young World. I share a lot of information like quiz, Hey Math, drawings and the posters with my school children. Children wait for Tuesday's paper. I think this makes a difference to the students of my school.
