Another hot day

It was another hot day in the Capital on Sunday, with the maximum temperature rising to 37.9 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal for this time of the year.

The minimum temperature was also above the season’s average at 27.3 degrees Celsius, said a Meteorological Department official.

Humidity levels oscillated between 38 per cent and 83 per cent on Sunday.

The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded on Saturday was 37.8 degrees Celsius and 25.7 degrees Celsius respectively.

The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy sky for Monday, with the maximum and minimum temperatures expected to be around 38 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively. — PTI
