The demonstrators who have spent the whole night under the open sky in a chill weather condition on Wednesday were surprised when a group of workers from exterior decorator shop arrived with shamianas on Thursday morning and started erecting the cloth roof covering the demonstration site at Vanigar Veethi.

Subsequently, a silk cloth business house which sponsors iron barricades to the law and order machinery brought adequate numbers of barricades to the protest site late in the night for creating a small way on one side of the carriageway for the benefit of general public to pass through the street.

Sensing the support from general public and the official machinery, as the latter did not raised any objections towards the facilities and food extended to the demonstrators, the protesting youth themselves started arranging the barricades in such a manner that movement of public to a bank premises was not affected by their demonstration.
