Lisa Ray remains loyal to her dietary regimen which doesn’t involve low-calorie food

There she was…exuding grace and charm with not a hint of the difficult times that have gone by. Dressed in a beautiful orange coloured sequinned Satya Paul sari, Lisa Ray confirmed that she “never felt better.” The actor was here for the launch of a new facility of LifeCell, a stem cell bank, an issue dear to her heart.

The actor said that even after she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cells, her dietary regimen more or less remained the same. “I do not believe in low-calorie food, what I eat is healthy and I have always advocated the same. I have always led a very healthy lifestyle and believe in healthy eating rather than following a strict diet regimen,” she says.

Top Chef Canada , which premieres next year. Finally, when asked about the reason behind her glowing skin, she laughed it off and said that stem cells are the secret. “Stem cells have a rejuvenating effect on your skin. Not that I wish that for anyone, but yes, it’s a regenerative medicine.”

At present, she is busy launching her exclusive line of saris designed by Satya Paul. Besides, she is also working on a book that traces her journey from her foray into films to being a cancer graduate.
