Pakistan is yet to convey its decision on Prime Minister Sharif’s participation in Narendra Modi’s swearing-in on May 26.

Pakistan Foreign Office spokeswoman Tasneem Aslam said on Thursday that a decision would be taken later in the day, but there was no word thereafter.

President Rajapaksa, Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai, Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and the leaders of the Maldives and Bhutan have confirmed participation.
