Manmohan to visit Hyderabad blast site today

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will arrive here on Sunday on a 125-minute visit to the twin blasts site at Dilsukhnagar and the hospitals where the injured are being treated.

According to a communication received by the State government from his office, he will arrive at the Begumpet airport by a special aircraft at 11.05 a.m. and board into a helicopter to reach Victoria Memorial Home near Dilsukhnagar.

From there, he will proceed by road to Omni Hospital where some of those injured in the blasts were being treated.

He will then visit the blast spot and call on more injured persons at Yashodha Hospital at Malakpet. He will return to Victoria Memorial Hospital by road and then head for the Begumpet airport. He will leave for New Delhi from there at 1.10 p.m.
