Barrichello warns Rosberg about Schumacher

Michael Schumacher’s former teammate Rubens Barrichello has warned the German driver’s new teammate Nico Rosberg to get out of Mercedes GP.

When asked what advice he would pass on to Rosberg, Barrichello said: “Get out of there - that is the only thing I can tell him.”

Barrichello, who played second fiddle to Schumacher at Ferrari, said Rosberg “needs to drive fast and don’t crash” to receive equal treatment by team principal Ross Brawn.

Barrichello said the words were meant as positive advice, especially after seeing Schumacher’s impressive testing times on Monday, when the 41-year-old was third fastest in his first drive for three years.
