Panu shines in Dindigul’s win

Thiyagarajan and Seshan sizzle in Thiruvallur’s drawn encounter

A match haul of eight for 51 by G. Panu Valatti helped Dindigul thrash Thanjavur by 176 runs in the TNCA inter-district under-16 pre-quarterfinals for the P.R. Thevar Trophy at NPR Turf grounds here on Saturday.

Easy for Vellore

In another match at Tuticorin, Vellore defeated Tuticorin by seven wickets to enter the quarterfinals.

At Thiruvallur, M. Thiyagarajan (four for 32 & 98) and R.M. Seshan Muthu (100 n.o.) starred for Thiruvallur in its drawn encounter against Karur on day two.

Thiruvallur qualified for the quarterfinals.
