Visiting a shrine: Sunil Gavaskar with Lonnie Ali and Louisville mayor Greg Fischer at the Muhammad Ali Center.

Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar will present some of his memorabilia to the proposed cricket museum at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

Gavaskar met Lonnie Ali, widow of the ‘The Greatest’, and the Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer last Wednesday and discussed ways of establishing a cricket museum at the center.

The batting maestro had visited the boxing legend’s home town in October 2017 to inaugurate a cricket ground named after him.
