Leading e-commerce brand Flipkart launched its Android app in the market this week. The app allows you to shop easily from the site and supports voice search and barcode scanning. It also allows you to easily share product information with friends through calls, SMS, emails and on social media. Also on offer is an app widget that showcases/highlights the sites’ top offers on the home screen, said a Flipkart release. This is the first comprehensive mobile app to be launched by the online player for its site, the release added.
