Rude media

It was a shame to read the report “Rude electronic media leaves Deepika in tears” (Sport, Aug. 28), a sad story on incredible achievers from the “non-cricketing” world. The kind of success the archer and the rest of the team has achieved has no parallel. To the media I have only one question. Had it been a cricket star, would anyone have even dared to make such a comment?
