India-Nepal relations

The relationship between India and Nepal is witnessing great turbulence as Indian goods are not able to reach to Nepal which, in turn, has created major problems for the Nepalis in carrying out their day-to-day activities. The economy of Nepal is totally dependent on India and the blockade has affected the daily lives of the people there. India should have acted shrewdly and got things done in a more appropriate way earlier. An effective diplomacy is one which is based on gentle persuasion without any coercion.
