The article, “Getting the talk atmospherics right” (Aug.28), was an eye-opener on the adverse impact of the failed NSA-level talks. However, I do not agree with the writer saying that the time is unpropitious. As time passes, memories of these traumatic events will fade; Pakistan too will need to find a safe door to walk through.
