The article headlined “A punitive sexual security apparatus” (Opinion, Dec. 21) said rapes and sexual assaults this year have been caught under the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. It should have been the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act. The error was introduced during editing, and is regretted.
