BJP plan for 2014

The BJP’s plan to return to its Hindutva agenda, as announced recently, is a blessing in disguise for the UPA. Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has no doubt mesmerised urban Gujarat, but he is still persona non grata in large parts of the country and the world. The main Opposition party and the self-propelled Modi should realise that the only agenda that can elevate India to greater heights is nothing but secularism.

It is absurd to see Narendra Modi being targeted and made out to be the principal villain of the nation. Those who talk ill of him are only unsure of their political survival.

Voters are confused as there is no alternative to the BJP and the Congress and they are compelled to choose the best from the worse. Narendra Modi’s elevation will hurt the BJP.
