A visionary

The article “An architect who built the ‘unbuildable’” (April 11) reminded me of the time I got to work with Zaha Hadid Architects at their London office, and on the ‘Bridge Pavilion Project’. As Zaha Hadid said, “you can’t teach architecture, you can only inspire people”. Her philosophy can be applied to our ‘Smart Cities Mission’ as such projects cannot happen unless the local populace changes its lifestyle. Our government and society should learn best practices from architects like Zaha to take up the challenge of building 100 smart cities as we are on the cusp of an urban revolution.
