No exposure
Debutant Sonakshi Sinha is definitely her father's daughter when it comes to making statements about her career. Recently, the actor, whose first film won an award, was asked whether she would consider revising her statement on exposure in films. Sinha confidently replied that she stood by what she said. “I am willing to experiment with my looks, but not willing to expose. That still holds good.” Sinha explained that she does tell producers her parameters. “If they do not agree they can easily get someone else. So I wonder why there are questions about my principles and morals.” Talking about her first film being such a huge success, Sinha said that she was pleasantly surprised and was now eagerly looking forward to the sequel next year. Till then she's busy with other roles and projects.

Bollywood and cricket, it seems, is a natural combine. At first it was only arm candy moments but now cricketers find themselves bagging lucrative offers to appear on screen. The latest is Shane Warne who claims he has been getting “Bollywood offers and would not put it past if the offer was interesting enough”. Warne, known as much for his off-field antics as for his cricket, said, “I absolutely love India and the crazy culture here. I love the passion of the people; that is reason enough for me to be here.” He also loves Indian food, specially chicken tikka masla as “long as it's not too spicy.” Quiz him further and Warne claims at the moment noting concrete has happened. However he is looking forward to some “good proposals.” With his new svelte looks and killer image, that should not be too tough.
Star attraction
Harsh Mayar is a happy child. And it's not difficult to see why. He's won the National Award for Best Child Actor in “I Am Kalam”, which has won several national and international awards. Mayar, who dreamt of becoming an actor, suddenly finds himself the centre of attraction in his residential colony in Delhi. The son of a scrap dealer, Mayar often mimicked Bollywood stars. “I am hoping to get some good offers from Bollywood,” said Mayar. “I get many calls and am very happy.” For his role he had to speak in a Rajasthani dialect, so “I watched TV serials where they speak in Rajasthani and practiced.” Asked if he would like to continue acting, he replied, “I love acting and want to continue.”
