In Passing: Right notes?

Going by the plaudits he has earned recently, actor Boman Irani should be singing in the rain. But this actor who has bloomed late is not content to rest on his laurels and has recently tried his hand at singing and playing the guitar with resounding success. Irani is now scheduled to launch a five-city tour with singer Shanker Mahadevan. Said Irani, “It’s not a concert as such but Shankar and me will be performing together. This is my hobby and I gave it a shot. It seems like it has worked.” Irani feels it is great to be able to juggle different roles but “if someone calls me a musician it would be disastrous. I am just lucky that I got the opportunity to sing,” said he. Whether he is being modest or not, truth is Irani’s hit the right note once again.
