Corrections & Clarifications - October 8, 2015

>> In an article, “ >The draconian ban on prisoner voting ” (Perspective, October 7, 2015), a sentence read: “The report is silent about whether Section 62(5) of the Representation of the People Act, which marginalises more than 40,000 people from the political process, is consistent with a mature, inclusive democracy.” It should have been 4,00,000 people.

>> Nicholas Velez is an Argentine and not Italian as mentioned in a report, “ >Kerala Blasters begins with a bang ” (Sport, October 7, 2015).

>> The teams qualified for semi-finals in Venice Cup are France, Netherlands, England and USA2 and not China as given in the third paragraph of a report, “

>England teams shut out USA1 ” (Bridge, Sport, October 6, 2015).
