The correspondent had correctly said it was Ms. Vadra who campaigned for her mother Sonia Gandhi in Rae Bareli.

>Huge turnout in sixth phase of election ” (front page, April 25, 2014) read: “The highest turnout of 82.13 per cent was recorded in Puducherry followed by West Bengal (82 per cent for six seats) and Tamil Nadu (72.8 per cent for all the 39 seats). Assam – 77.05 per cent – should have come before Tamil Nadu.
