>>Two errors had crept into the Business-Bottomline page story, “ Mini grids can power rural economic activity ” (Jan. 9, 2017) : The name of Smart Power India’s CEO was erroneously given as Jaideep Mukherjee. It should have been Jaideep Mukherji .

The penultimate paragraph — “A combination of flexible regulation by the government and erratic power supply from the national grid has meant that mini grids can compete directly with the national grid and, according to Mr.

Mukherjee , often the mini grids are installed in places already covered by the national grid" should be rephrased to read: “A combination of flexible regulation ... has meant that mini grids can complement the national grid and, according to Mr.

Mukherji , ... already covered by the national grid.”
