India on Wednesday said it has “sufficient evidence” to show that mutilation of the bodies of its two soldiers was carried out by Pakistan Army regulars and that Islamabad has been asked to take action against its Army commanders for the incident.

Dozens trapped as coal mine explodes in Iran

A large explosion struck a coal mine in northern Iran on Wednesday, trapping dozens of miners, the state media reported. Ambulances, helicopters and other rescue vehicles raced to the scene in Iran’s northern Golestan Province, as the authorities worked to determine the scale of the emergency.

Swachh Bharat Mission monitoring centre to come up at Rajghat 

For effective implementation of its cleanliness mission, the government will establish a national centre at Rajghat, New Delhi, to monitor the progress of the Prime Minister’s pet programme.
