The Special Court, which is trying the disproportionate assets case against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, on Tuesday rejected an application filed by V.K. Sasikala, a co-accused, seeking documents filed by the prosecution before the court but not marked as exhibits.

Dismissing the application, Judge B.M. Mallikarjunaiah adjourned the proceedings to April 12 for continuing the recording of her statement under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

It was contended in the application that Ms. Sasikala cannot satisfactorily answer the questions of the court under Section 313 of the Cr.PC.
