District Sessions Judge V. Balasundarakumar on Wednesday granted conditional bail to DMK MP J.K. Ritheesh Kumar, who was arrested along with seven others under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
The Judge said that he must stay in Madurai and sign at Tallakulam police station every day at 10 a.m. till further orders.
Lawyers A. Ravichandra Ramavanni and M. Somasundaram moved the bail petition for Mr. Ritheesh on Tuesday.
