Temple guard allegedly murdered; two idols missing

A 66-year-old guard at the ancient Bondra Devata temple in Rohroo area of Uttarakhand was allegedly murdered and two 300-year-old precious idols, jewelleries and valuables were stolen, the police said on Tuesday.

One ‘ashtadhatu’ idol of main deity, ‘Vasudeva,’ and another idol of ‘Devata’ were among the items that were missing.
