Officials of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) on Tuesday seized three rhino horns worth around Rs. 33 lakh in Jalpaiguri district and nabbed one person.
A statement from the SSB said that during a joint operation with police, personnel of the 53rd battalion seized the horns near Dhoopguri. Manjurull Alam was apprehended and 3 kg of horns, estimated to be worth Rs. 33 lakh in international market, were seized.
