Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) (JVM) on Saturday said it would never support Congress nor BJP, if the party wins seats in the ensuing Parliamentary poll in Jharkhand.
“Our decision is crystal clear, we will neither go with Congress nor support BJP at the Centre, if voted to power in Jharkhand,” party’s sitting MP and candidate from Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency in the general elections Dr. Ajay Kumar said in a press conference.
The JVM did not have any intention to establish itself in Delhi and decided to restrict itself in Jharkhand to ensure an all round rapid development, Dr. Kumar said.

In the absence of a proposed Third Front, he said, the JVM would march on the line of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik—led Biju Janata Dal (BJD) to ensure rapid development of the state.
Our neighbouring state Odisha has witnessed a rapid growth under the BJD government, he claimed while expressing JVM’s intention to follow it in Jharkhand.
Oozing confidence that JVM, which is contesting all the 14 parliamentary seats in the state on its own, would perform well in the poll, Dr. Kumar claimed that regional parties like JVM and BJD only can take up local issues seriously on the floor of the parliament.

Criticising the BJP and Congress for ignoring the issues of the state, Dr. Kumar said BJP was bent upon fomenting communalism and casteism to win the election.
The JVM has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission against the BJP for spreading canard about the party, he said.
The BJP has been spreading canard in minority pockets that JVM, if it would win seats, would support a government to be formed by NDA while it was driving a wedge in the society on caste line in rural pockets, the MP alleged.
He also described BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s public meeting on 10th April last as a ‘flop show.’
