Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday landed at the Dabolim Airport in Goa where he will go onboard INS Vikramaditya.
Mr. Modi was welcomed by a host of dignitaries including Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, state party president Vinay Tendulkar, a host of senior cabinet ministers and officials.
He was also greeted with a ceremonial guard of honour by Indian Navy personnel.

From the airport, Mr. Modi will ride in a naval chopper to the INS Vikramaditya, India’s biggest naval vessel, off Goa where he will witness a host of demonstrations onboard the aircraft carrier.
Later in the day Mr. Modi will attend three functions in Panaji, which includes kicking off the construction process of a new bridge, addressing a party workers meeting and interacting with a group of select invitees at a five star resort.
